Bikini Season Is Here!

Bikini Season…Are you ready?

What are you ladies doing to get yourself ready for bikini season?

Going to the Gym, Wii fit or working with a personal trainer.

I am going to the gym at least three times a week, working on my abs, butt and legs.

I plan on having my body toned by June and I don't have long to go, so I'm going to push it because I want to be ready to fit in my new sexy swimsuit I'm taking on vacation in Miami. I can't wait.

Tips you can use to get ready.

1) Six pack Abs

2) Tight Butt

3) Sexy legs

Complete the workout three days a week, resting a day between each session. Do the exercises as a modified circuit, performing one set of each exercise in session, and resting 30 seconds between each move.

You want to make sure you stay on a diet. Have plenty fruits, vegetables and water.

Abs training should be fun. Try to mix it up and not let yourself do the same thing too often. This is always a big help on the road to getting a flatter tummy with better looking abs.

Hey ladies, here's the deal I am officially addicted to YouTube… I can't believe it. It first started off looking up different ways to do my hair to makeup application and so forth, now I look at YouTube for any type of research or reviews for different products I want to know about.

Here is want I really want to share with you ladies, I was just looking up ways to make my hair grow longer and stronger and I found out about all types of products to use but there were a few that stood out to me like castor oil, virgin olive oil and coconut oil. I went out and purchased some castor oil with mink oil from Walgreens and I have used it in my hair on my scalp and I will continue to use it and will update you on the progress.

I also have found that not only is coconut oil good for your hair but it is also wonderful oil for your health. I did more research on coconut oil because it just stood out to me the most out of all the other oils, what I found out was so amazing and how this oil can make a difference in my life. I watched countless reviews on you tube and Google coconut oil to make sure what I was hearing wasn't just a scam. I found so many ways coconut oil can benefit your health and work to heal so many things its crazy…wow.

I am telling you this because if coconut oil is that beneficial why not share it. Please go to YouTube and type in coconut oil and also Google it as well and you will see. Let me know if you are going to try it out. I plan on trying it, I just picked up Organic Virgin Coconut oil unrefined cold pressed, USDA approved from the health food store and I am excited to try it. I am going to use it on my skin and hair. I will also give you reviews and updates on using coconut oil.

Beware...toxins in Nail Polish

OPI ($7) nail polish is one of my favorite nail polish to use, stays on long so you really get your money worth. I love the new collection because of the beautiful colors and also this polish is FDA approved. Free of toxins including: formaldehyde, DBP, toluene.

Nars Nail Polish ($16) has developed an improved formula. The varnishes are now enhanced with UV protection, have a glossier finish, and supposedly last longer without chipping (I haven't reached a verdict on this just yet). They are also free of formaldehyde, DBP and toluene - which I think makes the smell less severe.

The polishes in the Lippman Collection ($15) are now not only free of DBP, formaldehyde and toluene, but they also contain green tea and biotin (protein) to help your nails grow stronger. The formula dries quickly and has a really nice shine. I personally love the two new spring colors. Have you had the chance to check out Dream a Little Dream of Me yet?

Let’s talk nails

Applying nail polish can be a challenge for some people, especially applying dark, deep colors.
First you need to take your time, rather than polish the whole nail in one full swoop.
Break the process into at least three strokes: First, paint the center, then swipe along each side on the nail, keeps the coats thin to prevent chipping.

Also ladies you have to stay in the lines. But if you happen to go outside the lines use an orange wood stick or a Q-tip to clean it up.

For a finish professional look, always leave a small open space between the cuticle and the polish line.

(Quick tip) Before removing polish brush cuticle oil on each nail, to avoid staining the base of the nail on the fingers. The purpose of the oil it creates a barrier that keeps the color from penetrating the skin as you rub it away.

HELP WITH STORAGE...

Best way to store your handbags.

You might want to divide your bags into three categories: current rotation, special occasion and off season.

Current rotation: Is an everyday handbag that you use in rotation with other everyday bags, in neutral colors of black, brown and tan.

Special occasion: Is a handbag that is used for special events only.

Off season: a handbag that is not the color for the season, such as light pastel colors for the winter time would not be a wise choice. I would wear those colors in the summer.

If you have room stagger pretty knobs or hooks on the back of your closet door for go-to-handbags, and just add them the same way you were hanging multiple pieces of art. Start with the largest bag and build around it.

Put your special occasion bags in a clear tote container on an accessible closet shelf. You may also want to think about keeping them in a dust bag.

Now you’re ready for your out-of-season, move handbags to a high shelf or you can relocate them to another closet close by in your home. Keep them in dust bags as well because sometimes they tend to lose its shape, this helps maintain the shape.

Hey Ladies, I have some Beauty Secrets I would like to share with you.

You know how you have nail polish that you just can’t get opened; try wrapping a rubber band around the top for a better grip. You may also want to try turning the bottle upside down and tapping it on a counter/table, or arm of the chair. These methods are sure to get you to your favorite polish.

I call this one a fake nose job. If you draw a line with cream shimmer down the bridge of your nose, the highlighter reflects the light, creating an illusion of a straighter nose.

I have tried this and it does work, on the go oil blotting papers. If you find yourself without any try using toilet seat covers, they make perfect oil blotting papers they are made up of the same paper and the thin paper absorbs oil like a sponge.

My favorite to try is boosting your lashes. Before putting on mascara try brushing on a little of translucent powder onto your lashes first, this adds instant volume.

For all my Divas that wear false lashes, attach them with ease by holding a hand mirror below your chin and look down. This helps close your lid a little and still allowing you to see at the same time.

Ladies, summer is here and you know what that means, it’s time for happy feet…

It’s Pedicure Season!

Achieve a professional pedicure in the comfort of your own home, saving time and money.
Giving yourself a professional looking pedicure at home is a snap if you follow some simple steps. Pedicures can be done alone of course, but they are so much more fun when you invite a group of girlfriends over for a pedicure party. Here are tips to help you achieve salon quality results without the expense.

You need the following materials, which I recommend getting from Sally’s beauty supply all you need is here.

Foot file or Pumice stone (I recommend a two-sided foot file)
Toe separators or cotton balls/roll
Emory board
Cuticle remover
Orangewood stick
Color nail polish (I recommend formaldehyde-free)
Base coat (formaldehyde-free)
Top coat rapid dry (formaldehyde-free)
Nail polish remover
Nail clippers
Foot bath/foot spa basin
Cotton balls
Clean towels
Cuticle nippers, if desired
Intense moisture lotion (recommend with Shea butter for smoothness)
Nail buffer, if desired
Paper pedicure slippers, if desired.

1. Thoroughly saturate a cotton ball with nail polish remover and use it to remove any old polish you may have on your toenails from you last pedicure. Gently pressing the cotton ball on the nail for a moment before wiping the nail
with a circular motion will make it easier to remove the polish.

2. Fill the dishpan with enough warm soapy water to cover your feet. I like to use antibacterial hand soap. Soak for at least five minutes.
Note: Whenever you are working on one foot, the other foot should be soaking in the warm water.

3. Dry your foot and apply the cuticle remover at the base of each nail. Wait one minute for the remover to soften the cuticle. Use the wedged end of the orangewood stick to push the cuticle back. If desired, carefully snip off the excess cuticle. Repeat this procedure on the other foot.
Note: If you like, you may trim your cuticles with cuticle nippers. I don't recommend this if you aren't experienced at it. Once you start trimming cuticles you have to keep doing it every time you give yourself a pedicure. You may nick yourself in the process and bleed. This will not make for a relaxing pedicure experience!

4. Using the nail clippers, cut off any nails that are too long. Length is a personal preference, but make sure the nail is shorter than the toe. Be careful not to cut the nails too short as this can cause ingrown toenails and can be quite painful. With the emery board, file the nail into a square shape.

5. Use the nail buffer to smooth any roughness or ridges on the surface of the nails. This may also rid of any discoloration from previous nail polish.

6. Use your foot file on your damp foot to rub any areas of dry or flaking skin. Rinse the foot and dry. You may also use a pumice stone.

Note: Do not ever use a filing tool or any sharp object that cuts your skin or allow one to be used on your feet. Not only is it unsanitary, but you may cut too deeply, causing pain or even drawing blood.

7. Apply a generous amount of lotion to the foot, massaging it in and taking care to cover all the foot, especially the dry and flaky parts. Massage the lotion up your legs to your knees. Close your eyes and relax for 10 minutes, allowing your skin to soak in the soothing lotion.

8. Saturate a cotton ball with nail polish remover and go back over your toenails, making sure that all lotion residues are removed. This is important, since the polish will not stick to any surface that still has lotion residue on it.

9. Press the toe separators between the toes, so that each toe is not rubbing on the next.
Note: If doing a group pedicure, make sure that each person has their own pair of toe separators, for the sake of hygiene. If toe separators are not available, use cotton balls or a roll of cotton. Be very careful to keep the cotton away from the nails themselves, as cotton fibers will ruin the look of the polish.

10. Brush 1 coat of the base coat over the entire nail. Allow it to dry for one minute.

11. Apply 2 coats of the nail color. Allow it to dry for 5 minutes.

12. Apply the rapid dry top coat. Allow it to dry for 1 minute, then reapply top coat on the very tip of the nail just to reinforce because the tip is the first to start peeling.

If possible allow a half hour for the nails to dry completely. If you don't have that much time, carefully remove the toe separators and slip your feet into open toed shoes. Be very careful that the wet nails don't touch the shoes or other toes. You may want to use your favorite pair of summer flip flop sandals.

This entire procedure should take about an hour. After your nails are dry, you can look down often and admire your work. Tell all your friends how easy it was so that the next time you guys can all get together for a pamper party. Your pedicure should last about 2 weeks or even longer if you apply more coats of the topcoat throughout your pedicure.

Hey Ladies, Some people say that handbags are the new weapon to keep us safe. Our carry all handbags are the new weapons to fend off a purse snatcher, robber or someone who wants to invade our personal space. Just think of all the things we carry in our bags and how heavy they are, we can really knock someone out with it.
I’m not trying to promote violence, but as a woman men think we’re weak and vulnerable and that we can’t fight for ourselves.

This is a story of young ladies fighting off a criminal with their handbag.

You wouldn't think ladies out on a shopping spree would team together to catch a criminal running through the streets, but that's exactly what 3 women from the New York did.

The police had been chasing this guy for some time, but they didn't have that secret weapon. When they spotted the criminal coming towards them the brave ladies beat the man with their bags as he run through the street, slowing him down enough for the cops to catch him.

I would love to share what’s in my bag I hope you share what’s in yours…
I have my wallet with all my important things, cosmetic bag (this is a must have for me), cell phone, old and new receipts, sunglasses, Trident white gum, pen, hand lotion, and of course my business cards. I do try to keep my bag organized.

I switch handbags a lot so I transfer most of these things to the other bag and sometimes I find myself leaving something I really need in the other purse.

The SWINE FLU is thought to occur in the same way as seasonal flu occurs in people, which is mainly person-to-person transmission through coughing or sneezing of people infected with the influenza virus. People may become infected by touching something with flu viruses on it and then touching their mouth or nose. The Swine Flu is out there so please take this advice and use it in your day to day activities.

Ladies it is so very important to keep your handbags clean and what I mean by that is keep them off of the floors, tables, and any where you prepare food. Sanitation is one of the #1 things we need to practice if we want to stay healthy.Free of germs and bacteria that causes cold viruses, and also diarrhea.

Studies show handbags are the most germ carrying accessory to have. If you think about it we take our purses everywhere we go including restrooms, restaurants, and entertainment events. Germs are commonly found on the bottom of your handbags, but don’t think for once you can be safe because they can move from one location to another.

You can sit your purse down on something and the germs are on the bottom of your purse and then next move on to sitting the bag on your lap and now you have the germs and bacteria on your clothes, and if you have small children that sit on your lap, now they have attracted the germs and so forth.

It is very important as well to wash your hands when you’re out to dinner, using hand sanitizer, and wiping your purse down with sanitizing wipes will help prevent the spread of any germs, viruses, and any bugs going around. Keep a small bottle of sanitizer in your purse just in case.

Ladies be very cautious of this because it’s not to be taken lightly.

Are knockoff or replica handbags ok, legal or not?

A knock off in our opinion is defined as a very similar handbag with features that are copied from original manufacturers work. However, a legal knockoff or what is also called a replica does not portend to be the original. Meaning if it is a Coach replica it indicates that it is a Coach “replica” or knockoff. Standard Wallets

Strange that when someone thinks of gifts they often do not think about giving a handbag as a gift. Interesting I have never received a handbag as a gift until recently.

How I feel when I buy a replica handbag.

I bought a replica handbag from the “Purse Lady”, that’s what the ladies in the neighborhood called her. It was a gorgeous cream patent leather Prada replica handbag perfect for the summer. It was medium sized and about the right size. The handles were braided. I examined the bag at the store and it seemed of good quality, but in hindsight I was blinded by its lovely absolutely gorgeous style and texture. I looked at it as if I were a deer in the headlights. I was mesmerized by it, pull to buy it. I bought it for $75. I bought other knockoffs that day. In total, I bought 4 bags that day. I bought Fendi, Chanel, Prada & Gucci replicas. I was literally in another universe. I did not really use the Prada bag for almost a month. You ask why I did not use it for a month given the fact I was very anxious to buy it, I was afraid to show it to my fiancé and two because its season had not quite come about. It was a summer bag and it was February. Also my fiancé would have frowned on me buying 4 bags at once.

So when I did finally use it, you know I used it with the perfect outfit. I got lots of compliments and it felt so great. The question I was always asked was where did I get the bag. For some reason, I could not tell anyone that I bought the bag from a good friend who sells handbags. I told them that I bought it off the internet.

But then on that infamous day on about the tenth time that I carried the bag, I was out with some friends. It was summer. My girl friend is a coach fanatic. I am not sure why she is addicted to buying coach things. She has everything coach. Coach key trains, coach sandals, coach shoes, coach flip flops, coach purses & wallets, coach watches and even her daughter has coach stuff. Coach is a fabulous brand. Coach, Coach, Coach. For me Coach is the top of the line brand in its marketing space. With simple, but not flashy looks and of course the infamous “C”.
